Innovation Management

Efficiency innovation is easier to do, it's about management. Where it gets hard is transformational innovation. So what can you do as a leader?

Understand, then commit at least 40% of your time in your agenda every week to innovation!

Our co-founder and author of The Invincible Company, Alex Osterwalder, recently sat down with Daniel Pink, author of bestseller To Sell Is Human, to discuss leadership innovation alongside Ricardo Vargas at the annual Nordic Business Forum.

Alex believes it's not enough to say it's important but then not to do it, and urges every leader out there to consider the symbolic message they're communicating to the company when it happens.

Clearly, innovation needs more power, and Alex believes that it's actually relatively easy to give. You might have to educate the board and investors that you're in it for the long term, but it's certainly achievable.

Really investing time, energy, money and mindset into growth and transformation into innovation is of symbolic value to the company.
